Individual rights frame:
Based on career interests and feminist ideals.

Resistance frame:
Resistance to social pressures to have children, characterized by disputes in the workplace.
Personal frame:
Framed as a choice but primarily in the context of an individual life history, so not drawing on broader ideas of rights or social change.
Social change frame:
Framed of broader changes in society, typically a move towards a more ‘individualist’ perspective.
